Whether you need it for work or use it for play, the Ford F-Series can handle anything you put it through. From its exterior down to the engine, every centimeter of an F-Series truck is built tough.
Desjardins Ford is where to go if you want a Ford in the Ste-Foy area. We are here to answer your questions and help you choose the right F-Series for you.
Ford’s F-Series includes the F-150, F-250, F-350, and F-450. No matter which truck you choose, you can trust its military-grade aluminum-alloy body and high-strength steel frame.
Each truck in the series has multiple style models for you to choose from:
XL – a simple interior meant for getting work done
XLT – an interior designed for those in charge
Lariat – trimmed with leather, this interior has a powerful design
King Ranch – leather and wood combine to make a sleek yet rugged interior
Platinum – metal accents stand out against the leather seats, making this interior feel exclusive
Limited – decked out in leather, this interior is top of the line
Raptor (F-150 only) – an interior that can handle an off-road life
If you are dying to get into an F-150, the 2020 version will not disappoint. If you can hold out, though, there is a 2021 version in the works.
The 2021 F-150 has been redesigned to be tougher than ever and smarter, too. This top-of-the-line truck boasts best-in-class capability with six engine options to choose from.
With Pro Power Onboard, the F-150 can provide you with up to 7.2kW of power output, even when you’re in park.
Ford is moving forward with engine technology and now offers the F-150 dual electric and gas hybrid engine. The 3.5L PowerBoost Full-Hybrid V6 engine gives you the power you need while saving you money and helping the planet.
Not only is the 2021 F-150 amped up with power; the interior and exterior are better, too, with features such as:
Interior Work Surface
Tailgate Work Surface
Pro Trailer Backup Assistance with Trailer Reverse Guidance
Ford Super Duty
The F-250, F-350, and F-450 are Ford’s Super Duty trucks. Each succeeding model is bigger and stronger than the one before it.
Super Duty trucks have multiple engines to choose from, including the all-new 7.3L PFI Gas V8 and the 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel. Most engines come standard with the Ford TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission with selectable modes:
Rock Crawl (available with the Tremor Package)
If diesel is your preferred fuel, then you can take advantage of the driver-activated engine exhaust brake. The exhaust flow is restricted, which creates back pressure to slow the vehicle while going downhill.
Your diesel engine can come with Operator-Commanded Regeneration with Active Inhibit. This feature sends a temperature boost to burn off the soot in the particulate filter, but only in a safe location.
Whichever engine you choose, you can get best-in-class gooseneck or conventional towing so you can tow trailers for work or play with ease.
To make life easier, you can choose from the following running board and tailgate features:
Regular or Extended Length Running Board
Power-Deployable Running Board
Integrated Tailgate Step with Tailgate Assist
Tailgate with Remote Release and Power Lock
LED Pickup Box Lighting, CHMSL, Side-Mirror Spotlights, and Trailer Light
Whether you are storing away your tools after work or your valuables for an adventure, the locking under-seat storage will keep your things safe.
Built tough does not stop at the engine and frame. Ford is dependable to the core, including technology.
To keep you, your cargo, and everyone else safe, Ford Super Duty trucks come with Driver-Assist technologies which include:
Pro Trailer Backup Assist
Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking
Adaptive Cruise Control
Blind Spot Information System with Trailer Coverage
Auto High-Beam Headlamps
Rear View Camera
Hill Descent Control
Pick the Ford F-Series for You
With so many options available, it can be daunting to choose the right truck. For those who have a boat, camper, or just need a little extra power, the F-150 should meet your needs.
Although it’s the smallest in the series, the F-150 is nothing to laugh at. It has off-road capabilities - especially the Raptor model - so the F-150’s power is not limited to the road.
If you need more power and strength than is required for everyday use, then a Super Duty is for you.
